SCANNED BY CASIE is an ongoing experimental photography project by Casie Wendel.

Through black-and-white flatbed scans, objects, bodies and personal artifacts become intimate studies of human nature.

Presented as diptychs, the images explore desire, identity, consumption, vulnerability and belief. Each pairing invites the viewer to discover their own relationship between two seemingly unrelated subjects.
